Bird Estuaries

An extrodinary reserve for bird watching ...

Pelican Lake Ranch’s 3,500-acre expanse of lakes, grass lands, sage, estuaries and cottonwoods, russian olives, elms, & other trees and shrubs attract a remarkable diversity of avian species, including bald eagles, osprey, woodpecker, duck, cormorant, quail, egret, blue heron, and the community’s name-sake pelicans…which can be seen during even a brief visit to some pond areas. Residents also report deer, red fox, antelope and other natural denizens wandering the community’s back country.

"Oh, the places you will go,

and the birds that you will see....."
